We stand behind delivering the lot we described. Because we sell liquidation merchandise — customer returns, overstock and shelf-pulls, all sold as-iswe accept returns for defective, damaged, incorrect or misrepresented products only. We do not offer change-of-mind returns, but when something is wrong on our end you are fully covered, at no cost to you. Please read this alongside our Shipping and Warranty policies.

What we accept — and cover at no cost to you

There are two deadlines, and they are different because one of them belongs to the carrier, not to us. Freight damage: note it on the Bill of Lading at delivery and tell us within 48 hours. Once a load is signed for clean, the carrier is no longer liable and no freight claim can be filed. Everything else: contact us within 30 days of delivery. We make it right with $0 restocking fee, and we pay the return shipping — by replacement, partial refund or full refund at our discretion:

  • Freight / transit damage — the load arrived damaged and it was noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery.
  • Wrong or incorrect load — you received a materially different lot than the one you ordered.
  • Misrepresented condition — the lot is materially worse than the listing described.
  • Defective delivery — the lot arrives non-functional or unusable beyond the condition stated on its listing.

What we do not accept

  • Exchanges. We do not offer exchanges or swaps. Where a lot is covered, the remedy is a replacement, a partial refund or a full refund — not a trade for a different lot.
  • Change of mind / buyer’s remorse. All sales are final except for the defective and our-fault reasons above.
  • Normal as-is variance. Individual items that are untested, do not power on, or show wear within a lot sold as customer-return or as-is are the nature of liquidation and are not, on their own, grounds to return a lot.
  • Lots that have been used, sold through, or materially altered from as-received condition, or items damaged by the buyer after delivery.
  • Freight damage not noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery, or not reported to us within 48 hours.
  • Any other claim not reported within 30 days of delivery.
  • “Materially short” means missing pallets or handling units against the load we sold you — not a piece count. Shortage claims based on unit count — every lot we sell is unmanifested and sold blind, so any count we publish is typical rather than guaranteed.

The as-is nature of liquidation

Liquidation merchandise is sold as-is. The low cost per unit exists precisely because the goods are untested and sold in mixed condition. We cover you when a lot is defective, damaged, wrong, materially short or misrepresented — not when a few individual items in an as-is lot simply don’t work, which is expected and priced in. Any estimated retail value provided is an estimate, not a guarantee of resale value.

How to file a claim

Email your order number to sales@liquidationpalletdepo.com within 30 days of delivery — or within 48 hours for freight damage, which must also be noted on the BOL at delivery. Include clear photos and your delivery paperwork. We respond within 2 business days with return instructions or a resolution. Do not return goods to the manufacturer, and do not ship anything back before you receive a return authorization (RMA) from us. The return address is issued with your RMA — it depends on which facility the lot shipped from, so please do not send anything to our office address without one.

Replacements & refunds

Approved claims are resolved by a replacement lot, a partial refund, or a full refund, at our discretion. We do not offer exchanges — a covered lot cannot be traded for a different one. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned goods. Because covered returns are our responsibility, there is no restocking fee and we pay the return shipping. Questions? Email sales@liquidationpalletdepo.com or call 361 217 5054.
